What Is Lotus Health?
A fly new telemedicine clinic that is focused on minority and LGBTQ health because we want to provide better care to these communities. We love beauty and we are socially and environmentally conscious. We care about everyone and want to see people happy and healthy.
What services do you provide?
We specialize in wellness, sexual health, family planning, and minor illness and injury visits. Basically, the same services you can receive at your primary care provider’s office.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, credit cards, Cashapp, and Zelle.
We are working to begin accepting most major insurance plans. Please email us to inquire about whether we accept yours.
How can you provide healthcare online?
Great question! Even though an online visit limits the providers examination, we can tell a lot by speaking to you. There will be times that you may need to be seen in the office and we can provide a limited number of services, depending on where you live.
What are you doing that makes you sensitive to the needs of Black, Brown, LGBTQ and other marginalized people?
Anyone that you come into contact with at Lotus Noire Health will be trained in trauma informed care. This means that we are better equipped to take care of people who have experienced trauma at some point in their life.
We don’t judge. This means that we understand people have unique situations and needs. We just want our customers to be informed and happy with their health.
We will never talk over your head. We want you to understand what’s going on with your body so we make sure we use everyday language to explain things. It’s a simple as that.
How is Lotus Noire different from other telehealth providers?
You will always know who your provider is. Since we are a small company, currently we only have one nurse practitioner. When we grow, you will be assigned to a particular provider and not be thrown into a pool of patients who can be seen by anyone that is available.
If you need to come in, we do have a discreet office location where are you can receive treatment, have blood drawn, or for an in-person evaluation.
I have a question that isn’t listed here or is personal. How can I get in touch with Lotus Noire?
